NTN deep groove ball bearings feature a wide range of applications. Their inner and outer ring raceways are formed as circular arc deep grooves, enabling them to withstand radial loads, bidirectional loads, and combined loads. NTN deep groove ball bearings are also suitable for high-speed rotational applications. Within this bearing category, variants include grease-filled bearings (with double-sided dust covers or double-sided seals) and bearings with retaining rings. Employing these NTN bearings simplifies bearing housing design.
Bearing Types
Dust Cover, Non-Contact ZZ: Steel dust cover fitted to outer ring; inner ring features V-shaped seal groove maintaining clearance with dust cover.
Seal, Non-Contact LLB: Synthetic rubber seal with steel core fitted to outer ring; seal's opposite end aligns with inner ring's V-shaped seal groove, which maintains clearance with seal surface.
Seal, contact type LLU: A synthetic rubber seal with an iron core is fitted to the outer ring; the other end of the seal aligns with the V-shaped seal groove on the inner ring. The seal surface contacts the seal.
Seal, low-torque type LLH: The basic construction is similar to the LLU type, but the seal lip is specially designed to prevent dust ingress while reducing bearing torque.
