Self-Lubricating Design Eliminates Oil Refilling

The synchronous coupler incorporates an oil reservoir within its central spacer section, supplying lubrication for the balls during operation. As the balls pass through the directional rotation section, lubricant is evenly replenished into the reservoir, ensuring continuous uniform lubrication. This design significantly reduces the frequency of lubricant replenishment. Testing confirms that with high-performance lithium soap-based grease applied at the factory, continuous operation exceeding 2,500 kilometers at 0.2 times the dynamic rated load is achievable without fatigue failure. Thus, with high-performance lubricant applied at the factory, maintenance is unnecessary under normal operating conditions, ensuring its service life.

Enhanced Motion Smoothness

Conventional linear guides without synchronous connectors experience initial movement of load-side balls, which then push the directional return section and non-load-side balls, causing chained back-and-forth collisions and significant fluctuations in friction resistance. In contrast, the Q1 Type linear guide featuring SynchMotion™ technology incorporates a synchronous coupler that connects all balls within the same cycle in series. Consequently, when the slide block begins moving, all balls start almost simultaneously without reciprocating collisions. By maintaining consistent motion inertia, fluctuations in friction resistance are effectively minimized.

High-Speed Design

The spacer design of the synchronous coupler eliminates friction between individual balls. Instead, the balls make ring-shaped line contact with the coupler, reducing the contact area between them. This effectively lowers friction resistance, granting SynchMotion™ silent linear guides outstanding high-speed performance.
