SKF Bearing Assembly Process and Inner Ring Assembly Procedure

Axial Fixing via Bearing Shoulder

SKF imported bearings achieve axial fixation of the inner ring through a shoulder and interference fit. Suitable for fixed-end support structures. Features a simple design with compact external dimensions.

Axial Fixing via SKF Imported Bearing Retaining Collar

The bearing inner ring is axially secured by a shoulder and locking nut. Capable of withstanding moderate bidirectional axial loads. Features a compact axial structure.

Bearing Lock Nut Fixing

The inner ring of SKF imported bearings is axially secured via a shoulder and lock nut. A retaining washer prevents loosening, ensuring safety and reliability. Suitable for high-speed, heavy-load applications.

Bearing End-Face Thrust Washer Fixing

The inner ring of Swedish SKF bearings is axially secured via a shaft shoulder and shaft-end retaining ring. The retaining ring is fixed to the shaft end with screws, which must incorporate anti-loosening devices.

Suitable for shaft ends unsuitable for threading or where space is restricted.

Bearing Secured by Clamping Sleeve

Axial fixation of the bearing inner ring is achieved by compressing the radial dimensions of the clamping sleeve's bore to grip the shaft.

SKF Bearing Retaining Collar Fixing

The clamping mechanism of the retaining collar is identical to that of the clamping sleeve. However, the retaining collar features a specialised nut, facilitating easier installation and removal of SKF bearings. It is suitable for fixing double-row spherical roller bearings on plain shafts where radial loads are significant and axial loads are minor.

SKF Imported Bearing Assembly Process Flow

Ground components, upon passing inspection, are stored in the assembly warehouse. Where production is well-organised, components may proceed directly to the assembly workshop for sorting and matching without warehouse storage, thereby reducing production lead times. Assembly warehouse personnel must not only safeguard bearing components but also maintain records of ring rolling dimensional tolerances and rolling element dimensional tolerances. Statistical analysis is conducted to issue component tolerance customisation orders and organise supplementary parts procurement to facilitate the matching and assembly process.

“Do you see over yonder, dear client, those tricky equipment bottlenecks, those wear-and-tear troubles that stall your production? I intend to arm your machines with genuine imported bearings—and stand by with technical support to slay every glitch that comes your way.”
